Daughter of jazz vocalist Deedee Bridgewater, Ms. Moses has made quite a name for herself in France.  Starting out as one of France’s leading R&B artists, China has branched out into familiar territory with the jazz band Raphael LeMonnier Octet.  Their most recent collaboration “This One is for Dinah” takes it back to the classic 1950′s jazz,  rendering hommage  to the unforgettable Dinah Washington.

The saying “the apple does not fall far from the tree” absolutely applies here…musical talent was definitely passed down from mother to daugther.  This apple, however, has it’s own distinct flavor.
