Club: Motown Party

Published on May 2nd, 2011 by La Jolie Noire

For nearly 10 years now Motown Party has been THE soiree for lovers of soul, funk and disco.  On the 7th, DJ Reverend P recreates this golden age of music and clubbing, when, as he says “music was soul and soul was black.”

Reverend P spins classics and rare jams on the turntables, from Stevie, Marvin, Diana, and Rick, to Eddie Kendricks, The Temptations, Jackson 5  and Teddy Pendergrass.  To that La Jolie Noire says…the roof!  The roof! The roof is on fiyah!

Entrance 10€.
